I'll simplify it for you. Lloyd Evans is a bullshit artist. He likes to assign people important sounding job titles in order to make it seem like he's running a fine tuned business, with the most grandoise titles fashioned for himself. He did it for JLE Translation Services and JW Survey. Even when he was mowing lawns in Wilmslow, "landscaper" probably wouldn't do. In all likelihood he called himself the Director of Operations or some shit like that even though there were only one or two employees including himself.

With regards to Dijana and her "co-producer" credit, I think you cracked the code on that one. On the interview requests, when she forwarded them to Lloyd and he accepted, she got the producer credit. It means absolutely nothing in the real world and she'd be acting the fool to include that on her CV. She doesn't "work" for Ipsilon Media in the traditional sense. Never has. She has never shown much interest in Lloyd's activism grift except when it came time to go whale watching in Vancouver and Australia.

For some unknown reason she has dropped the pretense of prepping the interviews and an unpaid volunteer has been "hired" in her stead. She pulls a salary from him in lieu of court sanctioned child support. So when he speaks of "paying wages" to Dijana, it's child support. It's either that or she gets nothing and he swears up and down to the court that he's in poverty. This is how dead beat fathers operate.

He’s running a business, but tries disguising it as a non-profit. He wouldn’t qualify as a non-profit because he’d have to open his books up for scrutiny and he’s contributing absolutely nothing towards helping people. No food banks, old folks homes or day cares he could point to if audited. So we see the pledge drives as many non-profits practice but with absolutely none of the accountability. Don’t fool yourself - if you become a Patron or financial backer of Jabba the Hutt, it’s a personal donation. Jabba might tell you the money is to feed starving Jawas, but it goes into his account over which he has sole control.

Donations are made to Lloyd Evans the person, not Ipsilon Media. Not Tibor. Not Dijana. The strange behaviour and his resulting financial struggles are the manifestation of the difficulties of successfully merging the business model of a for-profit and non-profit together and not getting caught. Televangelists enrich themselves, but they need to create something tangible on the ground to throw money at and make it seem real. A youth group cookout. Mission to Haiti.

Not Lloyd. He picks up women at the Ukrainian border and makes it look like he just rescued Anne Frank in his video.

To add insult to injury, he goes further than non-profits in appealing to emotions to bring in money. You’ll never see a dog shelter broadcast a commercial with suffering dogs and then cut to a Lloyd Evans type who then proceeds to make threats about having to put more dogs down if donations don’t improve. An advertisement such as that would earn immediate condemnation and lead to diminishing returns.

Lloyd’s already tread down that path and he’ll never be able to return to the gallant exJW persona who just needs enough money for a survey. You won’t even see a JW or non-JW YTer resort to what he’s doing now and it’s starting to really stand out with his new fundraising pop-ups.

Jim Jones was a committed Marxist from the beginning, but being in the American Midwest in the 1950s, that dream was impossible to realise. As he stated to close friends, his goal was to “infiltrate the church”. Lloyd has done the same thing with so-called “exJW activism”. I believe he’s said all he’s ever wanted to say about the religion of his father long ago. It’s been about personal enrichment ever since.

It’s disheartening to think of what all that money collected by Lloyd Evans could go to that’s a worthwhile cause. A group of former JWs go to Lake Tahoe every year for a camp-out. Try to envision what could be accomplished by taking what Lloyd fundraises in two or three months. Not only could they rent a huge block of campsites, purchase all the food, and hotel rooms for the more elderly or infirm, but with whatever is left over, a few less fortunate people can be flown in and picked up.

Then make one hell of a documentary that people actually want to watch about life outside the organization.

Bzzzzt! Wake up, dream’s over. Sorry, that money is going to Lloyd. Those Tahoe folks can pay for it their damn self. Fuck you.

Imagine a popular and hip restaurant in your neighbourhood which was the talk of the town. People went out of their way to get tables there and the owner was genuinely well regarded. He had his beautiful wife as the hostess and many became quite fond of her. Business was booming and things were looking up.

The restaurant is then temporarily shut down for two months without notice and the owner abruptly cancels events with no refund. It is discovered later that the owner had been abusing both customers and employees, including his wife and has been visiting Thailand for sex tourism. The owner is enraged, and in a series of social media rants reveals his upcoming lawsuit against the former employees who leaked this info and accuses many of his customers for being judgmental about his personal life and as a result refusing to partronise his restaurant.

The restaurant loses over half of its customers and is down to a skeleton crew of people still interested in working for this man. Profits nosedive and the owner starts placing notices on the restaurant's doors and on the social media page. It says:

Due to the defamation this restaurant has been subjected to, we might be forced to shut down and stop serving you our delicious and renowned pasta. Over half of our customers have fled due to them believing malicious lies about me personally. Our lawsuit will bring these criminals to justice who have defamed our establishment. In order to keep the doors open, we need to have at least 500 paying customers per month. This is at a minimum and we'll break even. I'll have enough to pay the staff and my own salary but that is it. The quality of our food will likely suffer. If I get 620 or more customers a month, then I will be able to improve the menu and go back to business as usual. Imagine the happy faces of our customers if we continue to serve you high quality pasta.

For a month or two, the numbers actually do exceed 620 customers. However, the owner makes no attempt to improve the menu as promised. In fact, it has gotten a bit worse with many "new" items being just smaller portions of the existing entrees. Nothing new is offered. The owner goes off on holiday for a few weeks and even takes some menu items off due to the shortened staff.

Irritated that he is not getting over the 620 customers a month as he did initially, the owner resorts to placing messages on the menus that he desires 620 customers per month, and at a very minimum, he needs 500 just to keep the doors open.

Plug that into a real world scenario if you want to find out how irritated and disgusted many of his supporters are going to get with him. Imagine being a loyal patron, contributing your portion due to his threats to close, only to have that threat continually shoved in your face every time you watch one of his videos.

I actually prefer that he does this and shows the numbers of financial support and how it doesn't meet his desired levels. It demonstrates perfectly what Lloyd Evans is all about and in a more effective way than how any of us can express it.

Picture this: someone claims that they need x number of patreons to work at something full time.
They reach that number.

And he did. He had over 700 pledges. Now he's lost over 100 of them in a few short months. During this time when he had more than he desired, he did jack and jack shit.

I don't think placing his Patreon/YT stats in every video and using highly manipulative language like "minimum" and "desired" is going to do him much good. It might get him a bump like 4 or so, but the casual viewer is going to think he's a grifting asshole.

Never underestimate Lloyd Evans's ability to make a bad situation worse. In reality, 620 is the "minimum" and once it went below it, it triggered something within him to beg more.

The reputation he's quickly getting as someone who's in this for the money is doing way more harm than the benefit the four patrons he picked up has given him.

I disagree...the narcissist loves this kind of attention.

Typically so with textbook narcissists, but not so with Jabba the Hutt. Even after he left this forum, he would often email site management to remove threads he didn’t like that were about him. He also did that regularly on Reddit, and left in a huff when they didn’t remove one. He’s also complained about this forum more than a few times on social media. It’s the Streisand Effect: by complaining about the thread he piqued many people’s curiosity and they read about what really was going on. He really wants all this to disappear so that his children don’t find out who their father really is.

Have to call bullshit on this one. This is a UK company, separate from the Ipsilon Media Croatian company. So if he really made 2 million dollars + the €160K+ at Ipsilon in 2021 ALONE, then what the hell is he doing fucking round with Patreon and the peanuts he’s earning now?

$2 million dollars is too exact of a figure and it might be what he is estimating his company to be worth.

If he really made $2 million dollars at his UK company, then he’s in serious default of his UK tax burden and this is not in line with what his returns say there.

So I think it’s just him placing an arbitrary number on his company’s worth and being Lloyd about it, making it seem like he’s a huge player when he’s not. Sounded like he was trying to attract business to www.tendervendors.com which is a dead link.

Lloyd seems like the type who, if he has a sudden increase in income, will have a sudden increase in spending and "lifestyle" to match it, as though that income is going to continue ad-infinitum.

Where I am from they are called the “poor-rich”. People who are relatively impoverished their entire lives come across some money and they pull up in a tricked out Cadillac the minute they get it.

Thinking out loud here - he pulled in $160K in 2021, $85K in 2022, and probably something similar in 2020 and 2019. This is a man who had no rent or mortgage to pay throughout most of this period. They could have had more than €500 in monthly expenses where they were living, if that. Many of his “activism” trips which doubled as family holidays were funded independently of his Patreon. Where did all this money go? I ask because it sounded like he had the money to purchase the home in Istria that he crowdfunded from the ~~earthquake~~ chimney repair relief fund.

Did most of that go up his nose or on prostitutes? Did he take what remained of that and purchased a flat in Zagreb whilst leaving his family with nothing? Flats there aren’t that expensive - €150k to €200k for a decent one. Istria is much more expensive and he seemed ready to move on that.

Open question - I doubt anyone has any solid math on this but it is something to consider.

Is it my imagination or is he dragging this right out?

Not your imagination. It's rather an illusion. This was done weeks/months ago and has been staggered out to retain the appearance of a channel creator hard at work. The "sushis" are just shorts created from the main video that are placed out there at intervals so it fills up the space and his subs get the notification that a new video is out every day. He'll also throw a random interview in there now and then to mix things up.

Think of it as like having a favourite television programme having 12 episode seasons with one episode coming out a month. In addition they release episode trailers, behinds the scenes content, and exclusive interviews with the actors a few times a week to keep you interested. So you are left with the appearance of non-stop programmes on television. Even Lloyd knows he can't go weeks without releasing new content. His patrons would flee in even greater numbers, so he needs to create this illusion of being hard at work and putting his donations to good use. It also serves to cover up periods of inactivity, such as the holiday he is on right now.

When he gets older, look for Lloyd Evans re-runs. He'll do a quick and updated intro to a video he did years ago.

If asked, he would probably gripe that people don't understand the strain he is under and are paying too much attention to his every move, and so on. The notion that people might justifiably draw an adverse conclusion from his actions is incomprehensible to him.

He absolutely would gripe in this manner, but he was the one who effectively brought his supposed financial shortfalls to the public and made a video about it. With that comes scrutiny. He made some bold claims of poverty in that video, to the point where it was described as a "tragedy" and that lives would not be saved if he had to either quit entirely or go down to 3 videos a month.

It should be abundantly clear that the information presented in the Things Are Bad video were a complete fabrication designed to gain him more financial support in order to support his lifestyle. If he were being truthful, he would have stated that he had plans to go on holiday, not for the channel, and they were in jeopardy if donations didn't improve.

Of course his actions are going to be scrutinised. His content didn't improve, despite his promise at 620 patrons and YT subscribers (at his peak he had over 700, beating it by at least 80 pledges) that he would "grow the channel". He deceived people, so he went back below that 620 mark and would tell you that he's under no obligation now that this benchmark hasn't been met.

A former friend came to me a few years ago claiming her phone and gas were about to be turned off due to months of non-payment. She knew I had the money because my dad had passed and I was executor of his estate. So she came to my home to ask for $800. Against my better judgement, I lent her $200 for the phone part of it, but didn't appreciate being looked at as a cash machine because of my dad's money. Like Lloyd, her claims of poverty invited scrutiny, and I didn't have to wait long before I noticed a social media post of her getting yet another tattoo.

I was manipulated and fooled. I called her on it, and eventually got some of it back. Lesson learnt. It's the same with these people who were manipulated into sending him money ostensibly to save his channel, only to see him go on yet another holiday. At this point I doubt he cares much of what people think of him and how he fundraises. As long as the money is there he'll do whatever he pleases with it and when it's gone, and will place the burden again on his viewers and what remains of his supporters. He really has no respect for them or their intelligence.

This is a man who whined that he was short €700 earlier in the year for “payroll”. Now he takes all that goodwill and trust people put into him after a highly manipulative video and demonstrated just why his claims of financial need were horse shit. I think he enjoys rubbing people’s faces into it when he takes off on holidays and makes little or no attempt to conceal it.

People are just not as interested in him as they once were. There are other alternatives out there to him and the evidence points to people enjoying other content. He’s middle of the pack, and his level of financial support is unsustainable with relation to his fading star and position within the community. That’s why the patrons are going down. It is self correcting as people are beginning to understand that “activism” can and will continue without him.

It was her hope that they could remain friends for the benefit of the children

I understand the intent, but Lloyd is a sick and manipulative man. She needs to remain cautious and maintain firm boundaries in her dealings with this man, especially when she does begin a serious relationship. That’s why I think these holidays with the ex are going to have to eventually stop. He will do everything he can to sabotage it, particularly if the girls maintain a good relationship with her new man. It will be out of pure spite and jealousy and he will not react well to them having a functional new family unit without him.
